^{desk work explores the representation of the self through objects and space rather than portraiture. photographing her desk over five days, williams’ captures the different states despite being taken at the same time each day, the small changes creating an insight into her person. the project was developed during her first year at university and staying in university accommodation, emphasising how williams’ has developed tthe space to feel like her own.}
